Located in the north of Aotea, Great Barrier Island, Okiwi School is a small year 1 - 8 kura where every akonga is known, valued, and supported to thrive. Our curriculum is grounded in the unique context of our motu, with a strong focus on te ao Māori, te taiao (the natural world), and hauora (holistic well-being). Our kaiako work closely with whānau and the wider community to grow akonga who are deeply connected to their place and culture.
